MarriageĀ

Part of being married is sharing, right?  I don’t mind sharing most things but when it comes to sharing a college, I normally don’t.

Today LSU Baseball is playing in the super regional in Omaha.  The Razorbacks didn’t make it to the super regional, and being married to a LSU guy, I am supporting them.  Well, and Carmen is going there as well.  So being supportive of LSU isn’t that difficult really. So long as they aren’t playing my Razorbacks! Ha.

Happy Saturday, and Gueax Tigers!

LSU & Baby Girl

This week is my Spring Break at the Northwest Florida State College.  I love being able to be off for both school and work.  I do have Math test on Monday when we return, but overall, I have the week off.

Catching up on appointments, the dentist, rheumatologist, and eye doctor all this week.  But…I also get to see Carmen at LSU.  I wasn’t able to move her in last summer (we went on a 50th birthday cruise), and haven’t had the opportunity until now.  I was able to go over on Tuesday, and come home today.

The main event of the trip was to go a LSU Men’s Baseball game on Wednesday evening.  I am all about LSU, Geaux Tigers! except when they play Arkansas.  You know that I LOVE my Razorbacks, win or lose, right?!  We had a great time, cold, but the best part was spending time with Carmen.

They lost in extra innings! 15 Innings to be exact. We got too cold and left after the 14th inning.  We did really try to stay but it was 11pm, and 48 degrees. Ugh.

Love her.  Loved this time together.

Blessings.

Southern Girls and Football

NaBloPoMo 2012 – Day 10

I live in the panhandle of FloridaĀ in between Pensacola and Panama City. Ā Some people call it South Alabama, but I don’t.

But we are part of South East Conference in college football. Ā I say this because everyone here is a fan of either Florida, Alabama, Auburn (lots of those) or LSU. Ā I am a lonely girl by liking Arkansas. Ā I was raised twelve miles souteast from the University of Arkansas, and went there some. Ā (Partied there, more than anything.)

So, as far as I am concerned, Fall is football season. Ā We look forward to this time of year more than most. Which in itself really insane. Ā But most of the SEC fans are insane. Ā We have to be to do what we do on game days, or during the season.

My wonderful hubby is an alumni from LSU, and LSU and UofA (Arkansas not Alabama) have a game at the end of the season called the Boot Game. Ā I love it. We have more fun cheering on our teams. Hurts most of the time (especially this season), but we love each other and football.

Southern girls and footballĀ  I found this picture (quote) on Pinterest, and it is truth.

Hope you are enjoying your Saturday.

Blessings,Ā
