It seems to me that everyone is in love with pumpkin spice the minute Fall season is mentioned. For those of you that don’t know, I live in the Panhandle of Florida, where the high temperature today is forecast for 94 degrees with a low of 74 degrees (like at 10:00 p.m.). UGH. I just can’t.
I love pumpkin pie, and sweet potato pie and all that goes with those yummy things, but I just can’t with the coffee and drinks.
I miss this:
The colors…the crispness in the air…the true feeling of Fall. It is this time of year I miss Northwest Arkansas. The trees there are gorgeous in the Fall, as I am sure they are as well in many other North or Northeast areas. Here, it is brown and green…all the time.
So with that…Happy Friday. I hope you have a great day.
No matter the circumstances or the time that passes these two have been amazing…always there, always loving and supportive.
I wish I lived closer…I wish I could be there for all of the important moments. I don’t. But…it doesn’t matter. We are always there when we need each other, regardless the circumstances.
Love knows no boundaries…and these two prove that.
Go Hogs Go!! WPS!
I know that our football team is hurting but I will always be a fan. ❤️🐗
Super Regional at Arkansas…college baseball baby!
Arkansas won today against Ole Miss 11-2. Tomorrow is game two.
This is my favorite place with our Dexter watching the game on ESPN while it rains in Florida. I have to say this has been a nice afternoon.
Today is the day, in my house anyway, of the LSU and Arkansas football game.
We are a house divided today…
Go HOGS Go!!
So incredibly proud to be an Arkansas Razorback fan.
We lost by the way…but it was a heck of a series. We had an incredible team this year.
Always a 🐗❤️.
LSU and Arkansas game day!
NaBloPoMo 2012 – Day 10
I live in the panhandle of Florida in between Pensacola and Panama City. Some people call it South Alabama, but I don’t.
But we are part of South East Conference in college football. I say this because everyone here is a fan of either Florida, Alabama, Auburn (lots of those) or LSU. I am a lonely girl by liking Arkansas. I was raised twelve miles souteast from the University of Arkansas, and went there some. (Partied there, more than anything.)
So, as far as I am concerned, Fall is football season. We look forward to this time of year more than most. Which in itself really insane. But most of the SEC fans are insane. We have to be to do what we do on game days, or during the season.
My wonderful hubby is an alumni from LSU, and LSU and UofA (Arkansas not Alabama) have a game at the end of the season called the Boot Game. I love it. We have more fun cheering on our teams. Hurts most of the time (especially this season), but we love each other and football.
Southern girls and football I found this picture (quote) on Pinterest, and it is truth.
Hope you are enjoying your Saturday.
