Y’all know that there are times I am obsessed with pigs.  Well, apparently I am even more so when I am in Baton Rouge.

Visiting with Carmen, and going to the Razorback-LSU Baseball game was wonderful in itself.  Carmen took us to a restaurant that she and David had gone to before, that honestly, I thought was just a BBQ shack.I decided to give it a try, and fell in LOVE with it.  I love the atmosphere, staff, and the food was amazing!  We went to the City Pork Brasserie and Bar at the Jefferson Street location.They have these pigs hanging on their walls, and I seriously thought that they were wrought iron, and so wanted one.  So I asked if I could have one – sure for $20.  The picture below is what Carmen posted on her Snapchat of me after I got my pig!Just a tad bit excited!  But, can you blame me?!  We will make this a frequent place when we visit, and not just because of the chalk pig! And now she hangs above the kitchen table.  Not sure that I want to write on it…yet.  Love that pig!  (And, I have NO desire to collect pigs, but this one was special.) Now to work on the clutter on the table.
