That bottom part…where I have 1.9k likes in 2018! Crazy. Thank you for all of the love.
My Instagram…I am not nearly as motivated with it as I have been with this blog, and I still garnered 1.9k in likes!!
Ah…social media.

David talked about his experience, and after seeing the episode, I feel like I need to have an intervention over my facial expressions! Ha. Oh well. It is who I am, and they did well with editing. I didn’t know what to do with my hands!
Now we wait on the check to arrive (they mail it 30 days after the show airs), and then to pay the IRS. We have a lot of bills to pay from when we got behind in life. This will so help us crawl out of that hole.
I am feeling incredibly blessed with this man (and my family). I am so very proud to be his wife, and share in this amazing adventure together. We both have a great jobs, and a roof (although it needs to replaced) over our heads. We are doing well. This is such a bonus.
Feeling extremely grateful.

So, five months after taking the initial audition test, my episode of “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire” finally aired last night. I have to say, I am pretty proud of how Jerry and I did. While I would have loved to have won more money, the $50,000 we did win was, as Chris Harrison said at the end of the episode, “Not a bad paycheck for 30 minutes work!”
Looking back, I am happy with the game I played. I used all my lifelines when I needed them, I thought through the questions, and I didn’t take any significant risks. (Of course, getting questions that happened to line up with the storehouse of weird knowledge I keep in my head helped immensely!)
Overall, the entire experience was an amazing adventure! And I have to say, we especially enjoyed meeting and working with the cast and crew of the show. From the folks that hosted the original test, to the producers that I interviewed with, to the production staff that took such good care of us at the studio, they couldn’t have been more supportive or encouraging. A lot of unseen work goes into making sure the final production looks good on the screen, and those folks deserve far more recognition and respect than they typically receive. So, to all of them, I offer my sincerest thanks.
If you ever get the chance to audition, I would highly recommend it! It was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and I am so very grateful to have been able to experience it.

Back in June, WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE held open auditions in Pensacola. David took the test, and we went home. After several skype interviews, and emails back and forth with producers, he finally got the call to go to Las Vegas for the taping of the show in August. We flew out and had a great time. It ended up being over our wedding anniversary, and birthdays (our wedding anniversary is August 20, David’s birthday is August 21, and my birthday is August 22).
To quote my hubby: “I played the game I wanted to play.”
The show airs tonight (November 15) on WEAR-TV abc3 in the Mobile/Pensacola area. Per legal, we can’t say anything until the show airs…so everyone will have to watch to see how David did. But I have to say we met some amazing people from other contantests to staff and producers from the show that will always have a special place in our hearts. It was an amazing experience.
