Living in Florida I miss a true Fall feeling, however, when I see October 1 on the calendar, I feel joy.
I love Anne of Green Gables, and this is one of many of my favorite quotes from the book. It was an appropriate feeling for me growing up in NW Arkansas. Falls there are a true Fall with yellow, orange and browns in the trees, the cool mornings and nights. A true Fall.
There isn’t the Fall crisp air, or the turning colors of leaves where I live but it is October. It brings bittersweet memories, as this is the time of year that I truly miss living in a place with four seasons.
